"Saso" Jimenez, a native of El Paso, Texas, began his bboy(breakdancing) career at age of 11 and has remained active in the culture ever since. It was his love for this culture that compelled him, as an 18 year old, to move to San Diego in 2001. In San Diego, Saso developed a reputation in the break dancing scene and joined the Rock So Fresh crew in 2002; a crew he is still representing today. In 2003, he joined Culture Shock San Diego where he began to learn dance choreography with the best in the world. This stint at Culture Shock opened up the doors to Saso getting recruited by the Jabbawockeez in 2004. Today, Saso produces choreographed shows for companies all over Southern California. In addition to producing these shows, Saso is also a podcast producer, dance instructor, Vlogger and all round entertainer/performer. He has worked with many artists, including Missy Elliot, Swiss Beats, Daddy Yankee, Shaquille O'Neal, and New Kids on the Block just to name a few.
mad mike logik
Mike started a video production company in 2000 called Reddroom Productions. What started off as a hobby, filming skateboarding and producing short videos, quickly turned into video production for companies and clients. In 2002, Reddroom grew past just making videos but became a one stop media production company providing graphic design services, producing events and creating other types of marketing products for clients. Then in 2003, through a collaboration with friends, DJ Mane 1, DJ Son of Jarel and a sponsorship from Joseph Kraft, this collective produced the Get Down, a monthly grassroots hip hop event. The events popularity grew and the collective (then referred to as the "Get Down Brothers) began other endeavors within the hip hop scene. Since then, Mike has transitioned into a Project Manager professionally, facilitating projects. As the project manager for Tuff Rocking, Mike Logik manages the teams projects thru scheduling tasks, managing communications throughout the team as well as with potential partners/sponsors for Tuff Rocking. In addition, he contributes to the podcast and video production through various roles.
jose dj son of jarel chavez
Going by the nickname of "Son Of Jarel", we have a true music aficionado and an avid record collector. Jose represents the Super B Beat Boys and can spin the funkiest of breaks. Aside from being a member of the U.S. Navy and an R.N. Jose has broken ground in the DJ scene across the nation. Known for representing his local DJ crew the Super B Beat Boys since the early 2,000's, Jose has amassed a true collector's vinyl stash that holds all genres of music in either 45 rpm or 12 inch formats. Having played for dancers around the world, Jose has a great ear for music and the skills to create the ambiance for music lovers and dancers alike. The first Get Down jams featured Jose as their DJ alongside the Super B Beat Boys, at the same time he was also a regular on their weekly internet radio show on the now defunct Earthbound Radio.
